Pretty decent second hand store, not as curated as other shops in Newtown but a few decent pieces at reasonable prices. My friend found a sweater he liked but noticed a pull and asked if they could drop the price and was able to get 50% off! Can't complain about that.

Good little op shop close to the Greens Supermarket in Newtown. Loved that the staff shows their top picks. Racks are easy to browse, they have a book section also. Pricing is great! Found a cute jumper in their $3 rack!

My friend and I were browsing the shop, conversing amongst ourselves when we were rudely interrupted by the owner, demanding us to “not swear in his shop”. We acknowledged the request but found it odd as we were not swearing at anyone or anything, simply quietly talking to each other. A few minutes later, he rudely interrupted us again with the same request and when I politely questioned him, he aggressively asked us to leave the shop and hand back the things we were going to buy. Unpleasant experience, would not recommend. Other better places to go to in Newtown!
Owner's response
We do not tolerate offensive language or behaviour in our stores, thank you.

It's moved to 22b Enmore Road on Jan24, bit of hidden entrance but u can check the sign board. Most of the items are $5, got nice jeans! friendly staff. you can find random stuff.

No returns but charging $80 for sneakers, is that even legal? I really don’t think so. Under Australian consumer law, if something is not fit for purpose ie fake, damage, breaks within a reasonable time frame then the consumer is entitled to a refund, exchange or repair of the goods the purchased, now I doubt that your staff want to or have the ability to repair anything, as an op shop you aren’t likely to have a like for like exchange available, so the only outcome is an exchange. When you were $5 for everything nobody cared, but as your business has moved on so has customer expectations in line with your legal responsibilities and it’s time to except that you need to adapt if this is the new model. Remove your incorrect signs please.

Amazing cheap clothing. A whole bag for $40. And the guy behind the counter is an absolute legend. Best op shop in Sydney

Hard to find, limited selection. Overall not worth the time wasted to see the place.

Shop itself is fantastic. Beautiful sunny day- we were wearing dresses to the knee not inappropriate- very modest and the older lady in the shop today was SO rude. She greeted everyone and thanked everyone except for us. Made a point to continuously look us up and down like we were inferior. We were having such a lovely day and the customer service in surrounding stores had been fantastic. Really put a damper on the day. When I found a few things I liked I headed up to the counter, the lady saw me but continued to sift through the front rack and made me wait. No acknowledgement when she finally walked us and I politely said 'just these 2 please' and she gave me this filthy look and said 'Yes, Thank You' as if I'd suggested she couldn't count. I'd taken the hangers off while I had waited and tried tried be as polite as possible but she'd already made her mind up, bit of a shame

Great hidden gem. Reasonable prices especially compared to the surrounding opportunity shops. Give it a visit!
